Detail your participation in church or youth group activities (e.g., leadership roles, mission trips, youth ministry, community outreach). Explain how these experiences have shaped your values, particularly in caring for others, and how they align with your core principles. (300 words or less)
Section 5: Entrepreneurial Thinking and Mindset
Explain how you demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking and mindset in your academic, personal, or professional pursuits. Provide specific examples of innovation, problem-solving, or leadership in your intended field of study or trade and describe how these qualities will position you as a future leader in your community. (300 words or less)
Section 6: Extracurricular Activities
List and describe your involvement in school clubs, sports, arts, or other extracurricular activities. Include your role, duration of involvement (e.g., years), and any leadership positions, awards, or notable achievements. Explain how these activities have developed your skills and leadership potential. (250 words or less)
Section 7: Letters of Recommendation
Submit two letters of recommendation from individuals who can attest to your character, academic ability, community service, church/youth group involvement, or extracurricular achievements. Recommenders may include teachers, counselors, coaches, pastors, youth group leaders, or community leaders.
Section 8: Personal Statement
In 750 words or less, share your personal story, highlighting how your experiences in community service, church/youth group, academics, and extracurricular activities have prepared you to be a future leader in your college or trade school journey. Reflect on how the values of "Hard Work, To Care Deeply, & Thrive Together" resonates with your aspirations and how you plan to embody this principle in your career and community. Describe how the scholarship will support your goals.
Section 9: Certification
I certify that all information provided in this application is true and accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that falsification of information may result in disqualification. I grant permission to the Scott & Andrea Louderback Family Future Leaders Scholarship Committee to verify my academic and enrollment status with my high school and intended college/trade school.
