Who can apply for the Bridgeport Future Leaders Scholarship?
Bridgeport High School seniors graduating in Spring 2026 who meet the scholarship requirements and plan to attend college or trade school full-time.

What is the scholarship amount?
The scholarship is a one-time award of $2,500. One boy and one girl will be selected.

What is the deadline to apply?
All application materials must be submitted by April 20, 2026.

When will recipients be notified?
Recipients will be notified by April 27, 2026.

How do I apply?
Go to the Apply page, complete the online application, answer the questions, and upload the required PDF documents.

What documents do I need to upload?
A PDF of your high school transcript and a PDF of your college acceptance letter are required. Two letters of recommendation are also required.

Please email us if you are still waiting on an acceptance decision and we will confirm what proof is acceptable.

Can I save the application and finish later?
Plan to complete the application in one sitting. If you have issues, contact us using the email in the footer.

Can I edit my application after submitting?
After submission, you cannot edit your responses directly. If you made a mistake, email us and we will help.

How are recipients selected?
Applicants are evaluated based on community service, involvement in church or youth group, academics, leadership, extracurricular involvement, and entrepreneurial mindset.

How is the scholarship paid?
Scholarship funds are awarded after proof of full-time enrollment is received.

What if I have trouble uploading my documents?
Try exporting or rescanning your document as a smaller PDF, then upload again. If you still have issues, email us.
